The WRC declined jurisdiction over an employee’s redundancy, unfair dismissal and wages complaints in a decision dated 31 January 2018, finding the complaints had already been adjudicated. The merits were not decided. The employer argued that the claims had been heard before, in a case decided in March 2017. The adjudicator found that the principle of res judicata applied to all three complaints.
