The Workplace Relations Commission found that a seamstress's complaint against an alterations company was not well founded. The decision, by Adjudication Officer Andrew Heavey, was dated 23 January 2018. The seamstress said 11 days of annual leave and her final week's pay remained outstanding after the business transferred to a new owner. The WRC found that her employment transferred with the business on 31 December 2016 and that the new owners became responsible for her entitlements from then on. It therefore found the complaint against the alterations company was not well founded.
