The Workplace Relations Commission found an operative’s holiday-pay complaint well founded and awarded him €832.105 for 87.59 outstanding hours. The decision was dated 5 December 2017. The operative said he was owed the hours from his 2016/17 leave entitlement after 26.70 hours had been paid. The food manufacturing company did not attend the hearing. The adjudication officer relied on the operative’s credible evidence and calculated the award at €9.50 an hour.
