A WRC adjudication officer did not recommend that the Health Promotion Office make a manager’s position permanent, finding its proposal of a temporary general manager contract reasonable. The recommendation was dated 9 February 2018. The manager sought permanent grade 8 status and backdating of her acting general manager contract. She said she had taken on higher duties from 2012 without general manager pay. The office said she had been appointed temporarily to grade 8 and offered a temporary general manager contract backdated to October 2014, but did not meet the criteria for permanent appointment.
