The Workplace Relations Commission ordered a Printing Company to pay an office assistant €2,120 after finding it had not provided her with written employment terms. Adjudication Officer Ewa Sobanska dated the decision 20 November 2017. The assistant’s complaint that she had received too little redundancy pay was not well founded: the officer found she had received her statutory entitlement. The WRC had no jurisdiction over her collective redundancy complaint because only three employees were made redundant; the merits of that complaint were not decided.
