A casual worker’s two complaints against a recruitment agency, alleging unpaid wages and unlawful deductions, failed for lack of prosecution after the complainant did not attend the hearing. The WRC decision was dated 15 November 2017. The agency also failed to attend. It told the WRC it understood the complaints had been settled and would be withdrawn. The merits were not decided.
