The Workplace Relations Commission ordered an employer to pay a quantity surveyor €3,810.28 net after finding his wages complaint well founded. The decision was dated 16 November 2017. The employee said cheques for his final four weeks of work, amounting to €2,734.48 net, bounced. The decision also records that the employer had acknowledged two earlier bounced wage cheques totalling €1,075.80. The evidence at the hearing was uncontested.
