Workplace Relations Commission ·

The Workplace Relations Commission ordered a restaurant to pay a waitress €240 after finding it had not given her a written statement of her employment terms. The decision was dated 5 April 2018. The waitress said she received no written terms during her employment. The restaurant did not attend the hearing or provide written submissions. Her complaints about minimum notice, working time and wages were withdrawn; the written-terms complaint was the only one decided.
