The WRC dismissed a general operative’s complaints about annual leave and minimum notice for want of prosecution after he did not attend the hearing. Adjudication Officer Enda Murphy dated the decision 16 February 2018; the merits were not decided. The worker had sought a postponement because he would be on holiday but did not provide supporting documents. The WRC refused the request and found his unexplained absence unreasonable. The employer also did not attend the hearing.
