The WRC found a sonographer was owed €961.54 in public holiday and annual leave pay. In a decision dated 31 May 2018, it upheld one complaint and found a duplicate complaint not well founded. The sonographer said he had not received pay for four public holidays or his remaining annual leave. The healthcare provider said it had paid the amounts due. The adjudication officer found four days of public holiday pay and one day of annual leave remained due, equal to one week’s pay. The award is subject to lawful deductions.
