The Workplace Relations Commission found Rocio Magali Dominguez’s redundancy complaint against Bel & Bellucci (Ballsbridge) Limited not well founded after she did not attend the hearing. The WRC said she had been sent written notice to the address on her complaint form. The hearing took place on 2 May 2023, and the decision was dated 17 May 2023. The respondent also did not attend; the WRC had received correspondence from a former accountant saying the business had ceased trading in 2019. As Ms Dominguez did not attend and no evidence to the contrary was presented, the WRC found the complaint not well founded; the merits were not decided.
