The Workplace Relations Commission found Margaret McDonagh’s discrimination complaint against Cork City Council was brought outside the statutory time limit and was not well founded; the merits were not decided. McDonagh alleged that the council’s housing allocation system discriminated against her as a member of the Traveller community. The WRC decision, dated 11 July 2023, said it could not investigate beyond the preliminary time-limit issue.
