The Workplace Relations Commission found Ujjwal Gulyani’s complaint against Psc Biotech Ltd well founded and ordered the company to pay him €14,264.74. The decision was dated 28 June 2023. Gulyani said he had not received the full three months’ notice pay due under his contract after his employment ended. The company said the client project had finished and it could not transfer him to another client because of the training required. The adjudicator found the contract required three months’ written notice. Gulyani was entitled to €17,062.50 for that period; after accounting for €2,430.82 already paid and €366.94 for two days outside the notice period, the company was ordered to pay €14,264.74.
