The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) found Liam Stokes’s discrimination complaint against Kilkenny Carlow and District Farm Relief Services Limited not well founded after Stokes did not attend the hearing; the merits were not decided. The decision was dated 12 September 2023. Stokes had said he was ill and had not been notified of the hearing, and that he would provide grounds for an adjournment. The WRC said it received no adjournment application by 7 September 2023.
