The WRC made no recommendation in a worker’s dispute over refused training-course funding and the handling of his grievance. The recommendation was dated 20 July 2023. The worker said the course was relevant to his role and that the grievance process did not address his concerns. The employer said the course was not a priority and that it had handled the grievance under its policy. The adjudicator found that the grievance procedure had been followed and said he could not reject the examiner’s finding that there was no evidence to uphold the grievance.
