The Workplace Relations Commission found it had no jurisdiction to hear Katelynn Ward’s Equal Status complaint against C.P. Leisure Limited, ruling the company was not the correct respondent. Adjudication Officer Louise Boyle’s decision was dated 17 June 2025. Ward alleged discrimination on the Traveller community ground. C.P. Leisure said it held the hotel bar licence but did not organise the event; Ward argued it was involved in organising and promoting music events. The ruling addressed only jurisdiction and did not decide whether discrimination occurred.
