The Workplace Relations Commission found Annette Ryan’s unfair dismissal complaint against Campbell Catering t/a Aramark Food Services Ireland not well-founded. Adjudication Officer Gaye Cunningham’s decision was dated 27 May 2025. Ryan challenged her dismissal for alleged gross misconduct following four employees’ complaints about bullying, intimidation, harassment and discrimination. She denied the allegations and said she had not had a fair opportunity to challenge the statements. The officer assessed whether the employer acted reasonably, rather than deciding whether Ryan was guilty or innocent. She found the employer had investigated the complaints and provided a right of reply, representation and appeal, and concluded the dismissal was fair.
