The Workplace Relations Commission found that Ieva Purava was not unfairly dismissed after she resigned from Merchandising Services. The decision was dated 9 July 2025. Purava said she was excluded from the workplace, faced a disciplinary meeting without formal warning and was locked out of the system before pursuing a grievance. The employer denied unfair dismissal and said she remained in contact with HR. The adjudication officer found she resigned without using the grievance procedure, which she knew was available.
