The WRC declined to hear two complaints by Grace Myslinski seeking payment for accrued time off in lieu and annual leave after finding they were lodged outside the statutory time limit. The decision was dated 28 May 2024. The merits were not decided. Myslinski said she was owed 270 hours of time off in lieu and 20 days of annual leave when she retired in July 2022. The Respondent conceded she had worked 276 unpaid hours. The adjudication officer found she knew at retirement that the accrued time and leave would not be paid, but lodged her complaints in February 2024, about 18 months later. The WRC found it had no jurisdiction to entertain them.
