The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Daniela Krause’s complaint against Fedex Express Ireland Limited, finding that she had not established a prima facie case of race discrimination, harassment or victimisation. Its decision was dated 26 May 2025. Krause alleged that a driver made racist remarks, damaged her door and demanded proof of identity and address before delivering a parcel. Fedex denied the allegations and said the drivers were contractors. The adjudication officer found that a new driver could not have known Krause’s nationality and was not satisfied that alleged door damage arose from the delivery. No compensation was ordered.
