The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Laszlo Vanyai’s complaint against Dunnes Stores, finding the Act had not been breached. The decision was dated 12 November 2024. Vanyai alleged Dunnes Stores failed to give a reasoned reply within one month to his request to return to part-time hours. Adjudication Officer Seamus Clinton found the request was to reduce his hours after he had moved from part-time to full-time work, so it was not a request for more predictable and secure employment under the Act.
