By Orla Quinn

Workplace Relations Commission ·

The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Wallace Taverns Ltd to pay Liam Kerrigan €3,400 gross after upholding his complaint over unpaid annual leave and public-holiday entitlements. The decision was dated 23 May 2025. Kerrigan said he had not received annual leave or public-holiday pay when his employment ended. The company said he had been paid for 21 days of annual leave and accepted that up to six public-holiday days remained due. The adjudicator found 13 annual-leave days and seven public-holiday days were unpaid, and amended the complaint to proceed under the Payment of Wages Act, 1991.
