The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed Anthony Gowler’s National Minimum Wage complaint against Fergal Byrne after finding the Act was not contravened. Adjudication Officer Úna Glazier-Farmer’s decision was dated 4 June 2025. Gowler did not attend the hearing despite being notified, and it proceeded in his absence. Byrne’s wife said he had worked three days rather than five and that Byrne could not pay him without his PPS number.
