The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) declined jurisdiction over Andrei Cracut’s complaint against Muldoon International Transport in a decision dated 26 May 2025, after refusing to amend the employer’s name on the complaint. The adjudicator found Cracut knew or ought to have known the correct legal name and said she could not determine the substance of the case. Cracut alleged penalisation connected with seeking parent’s leave, including withdrawal of a social welfare leave benefit and a letter about unauthorised absence. The respondent disputed the allegation, saying he had not specified the leave type, dates or other particulars in writing. The WRC made no finding on the allegation itself.
