Workplace Relations Commission ·

The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) found taxi service provider Abiodun Dongo discriminated against Lisa O'Donovan by refusing service to her and her partner because they had a guide dog. Adjudication Officer Valerie Murtagh dated the decision 21 April 2026.

Dongo did not attend the hearing. The WRC relied on O'Donovan's uncontested testimony and ordered him to pay her €6,000 compensation, and to comply with equality legislation going forward.
