The WRC dismissed parents’ disability discrimination complaint against a primary school, in a decision dated 8 February 2017. The parents had brought the case on behalf of their minor son, a former pupil, after the principal sought information about psychological tests conducted at the school. The school said the request was unauthorised and that the principal never obtained the files. The officer found no basis to regard the school as providing a service in the circumstances and found no discernible act of discrimination or anything falling within the disability ground. The complaint failed.
