The Labour Court varied a working-time decision involving Olhausens Limited and Vytas Murauskas, while maintaining the €250 award. The determination was dated 27 August 2008. The Court found Murauskas received his daily rest and that his regular, pre-agreed additional hours did not fall within the law’s section 17 definition. It found the company had not shown he received the full 30-minute break required on occasional shifts ending at 6pm, and changed the finding to a breach of section 12(2), rather than section 12(1). Murauskas withdrew his section 15 claim about working more than 48 hours a week.
