Labour Court ·

The Labour Court rejected Craigfort Taverns Limited Trading As Killashee House Hotel’s appeal and varied its decision to award Antonin Hubacek €3,500, including €107.32 in outstanding annual leave payments. The determination was signed on 6 April 2010. Hubacek, a bar supervisor at Killashee House Hotel, complained about daily rest periods, breaks, annual leave entitlement and holiday pay. The Court upheld those complaints, finding that the company’s records did not rebut evidence that he had been deprived of statutory entitlements. His complaint about the maximum working week was not well founded. The Sunday premium complaint was not pursued at the earlier hearing and was referred to NERA for investigation.
