The Labour Court upheld the Rights Commissioner’s decision on Tomasz Wielgosz’s four working-time claims, for different reasons, in a determination dated 17 November 2014. The Court found that a full and final settlement covered the claims and that Wielgosz could not pursue them there. Wielgosz argued that the settlement’s final phase had not been completed and that he could re-enter the claims. Murphy’s Laundry Equipment Ltd said one third of the money had been withheld because of an outstanding matter. The Court said the remaining dispute concerned the settlement terms and was not for this forum.
