The Labour Court found that a worker had not shown reasonable cause for the delay in lodging a complaint against Ballinrobe Community School under the Employment Equality Act 1977. The Court therefore did not allow the complaint to proceed; the merits were not decided. Its decision was signed on 22 December 1995. The Association of Secondary Teachers Ireland referred the dispute on the worker’s behalf. A Labour Court hearing took place in Castlebar.
