Labour Court ·

The Labour Court required HSE South to give Tony McCool a contract of indefinite duration after finding it had not implemented a Rights Commissioner’s decision. The determination was signed on 18 April 2011. McCool complained under section 15(8) of the Protection of Employees (Fixed-Term Work) Act, 2003. The Court said his contract hours should reflect his normal weekly hours over the previous 12 months. He was represented by the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union.
