The Labour Court did not recommend conceding the Irish Distributive and Administrative Trade Union's claim for overtime pay for 11 stock supervisors at Roches Stores Limited. Its recommendation was signed on 6 April 1987. The union argued that the supervisors should receive overtime pay like other staff. Roches Stores said extra hours were limited, formed part of the normal role and were covered by salary and bonus arrangements.
