In 1988, the Labour Court recommended that claimants accept Marley Extrusions Ltd.'s final combined offer in a wage-round and productivity dispute. It considered the offer fair and reasonable. The recommendation was signed on 18 February 1988. The offer included a once-off £50 payment relating to a three-month period from 1 March 1988. The Irish Transport And General Workers Union represented approximately 22 workers in the claim.
