In 1988, the Labour Court recommended that Jaebrade Security Services Limited pay £400 to a worker after finding the company breached agreed disciplinary procedures. The recommendation was signed on 21 July 1988. The worker, a night supervisor on the company’s security contract at Nutgrove Shopping Centre, sought compensation and a reference after being dismissed for alleged misconduct. He denied the allegations; the company said repeated complaints justified the dismissal.
