In 1991, the Labour Court recommended that Austin Rover not concede two former workers’ claim for interest on pension contributions refunded after their redundancy. The recommendation was dated 15 October 1991. The Court cited the terms of the agreement under which the workers ended their employment. Austin Rover had argued that they accepted their termination payments in full and final settlement of claims.
