The Labour Court recommended that Ryan Brothers (Ennis) Limited introduce a 39-hour week for 25 workers from 1 July 1991. The recommendation was signed on 17 December 1991. The recommendation took account of Services Industrial Professional Technical Union’s agreement to changes to clocking-in and breaks, and the importance of strict timekeeping.
