Labour Court recommends 3% basic pay rise for Roadstone Companies workers

By Orla Quinn

Labour Court ·

The Labour Court recommended that Roadstone Companies concede a 3% increase in basic pay for workers from 1 July 1992. In return, it recommended that the Roadstone Group Of Unions accept specified company proposals and negotiate on particular workplace problems. The Court did not recommend a review of the productivity agreement, saying there was no agenda agreed by both sides. It recommended that the unions accept an examination of pension and sick-pay schemes. The recommendation was dated 22 October 1992.
