In 1992, the Labour Court recommended that a worker accept a new contract from Irish Warehousing And Transport Limited (I.W.T.) after the company closed its Fashion Care division. The recommendation was dated 11 November 1992. The worker had been transferred to new duties. Her salary remained unchanged, but the company stopped paying her annual £1,000 travel allowance. The Court considered the contract fair and reasonable and recommended acceptance on the understanding that the company would review her salary as the job developed.
