The Labour Court did not recommend in favour of the National Bus And Rail Union’s claim for lost rest-day pay for a Bus Eireann driver. The recommendation was signed on 25 February 1994. The union argued that the driver should have been rostered on 19 June 1993 after taking rest days to comply with driving-hours rules while transporting the Irish National Soccer Team. The Court concluded that Bus Eireann had not acted unreasonably.
