The Labour Court recommended that Offray Ribbon Limited recognise Manufacturing, Science, Finance (M.S.F.) for negotiation purposes on behalf of five supervisory staff. The recommendation was signed on 18 April 1994. The Court recommended that both sides negotiate a procedural agreement within a month. It also recommended that M.S.F. refrain from processing claims until the agreement was finalised, and that the supervisors work Saturdays when required, under protest if necessary, before raising a claim about Saturday working.
