In 1994, the Labour Court found Marine Terminals Limited/Ocean Manpower Limited in breach of its agreement with the Marine Port and General Workers Union concerning foremen. The Court recommended that the company and union negotiate compensation for the affected workers. If they could not agree an amount by 31 July 1994, it recommended referring the amount back to the Court. The recommendation was signed on 20 May 1994.
