Labour Court recommends £250 relocation settlement for bank staff

By Orla Quinn

Labour Court ·

The Labour Court recommended a £250 payment in full and final settlement of a relocation claim by staff of Allied Irish Banks Finance and Leasing. The recommendation was signed on 25 July 1994. The Irish Bank Officials Association sought payments for staff who moved from four branches to the new head office in Sandyford. It cited staff cooperation and earlier relocation payments. The bank said such payments were outdated, notice had been given and the new office improved working conditions.
