In 1994, the Labour Court recommended accepting Finsa Forest Products' offer in a pay dispute with the Technical Engineering Of Electrical Union, which represented 29 fitters and electricians. The offer included PESP phases and a commitment to address how the Programme for Competitiveness and Work would apply with the unions in 1995. The union had sought an increase under the new programme after the earlier agreement expired. The recommendation was signed on 19 August 1994.
