In 1994, the Labour Court recommended that Hollister Overseas Ltd pay maintenance craftworkers the shift premium claimed for a fixed late shift. The recommendation was signed on 23 December 1994. The Court accepted the Technical Engineering Electrical Union’s interpretation of Clause 21 of the agreement and recommended renegotiating the wider agreement to consider changing the premium for fixed, non-rotating shifts.
