In 1995, the Labour Court recommended redundancy terms for three workers at F. Cunningham and Sons Motor Group (Tullamore) Limited: two weeks’ pay per year of service, inclusive of statutory payments, together with the rebate. The recommendation was signed on 24 April 1995. Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had sought three weeks’ pay per year plus statutory payments. The company said difficult trading conditions meant it could afford only statutory entitlements.
