In 1998, the Labour Court recommended that Saehan Media Ireland Limited pay a worker £500 compensation and deal sensitively with his complaints about work-related stress. The recommendation was dated 26 March 1998. The worker, the company’s head of security, alleged bullying, harassment and intimidation by the Human Resources Manager. The company denied the allegations. The Court said the incidents did not amount to bullying, but found the company had failed to respond adequately to the worker’s complaints through its grievance procedure.
