The Labour Court recommended that Olhausen Limited pay £700 compensation and provide a suitable reference to a cleaner dismissed from a back-to-work scheme. The recommendation was dated 12 June 1998. The worker said he was dismissed without warning and had not been told of a probationary period or given a contract. Olhausen Limited said he was on trial, unsuitable for the position and had been warned about his work.
