The Labour Court recommended that Craft Analogue Agreement rates apply to non-nursing staff at Residential Care Centre from 1 March 2000, without back pay. It did not recommend concession of the additional night duty premium claim. The recommendation was dated 1 June 2000. The Services Industrial Professional Technical Union had sought the rates retrospectively from 1 July 1997 and night premium arrears for five further workers. The Centre said the earlier recommendation covered only four workers and objected to the cost of extending the night premium.
