The Labour Court recommended against a University College Dublin worker’s claim for loss of earnings over her job grading, in a recommendation dated 24 October 2000. She said her duties had expanded and she had lost out when faculty secretaries were upgraded. The college said her post had been assessed under its agreed job evaluation scheme and that an appeal upheld the grading. The Court said the agreed assessment and appeal procedures had been followed and found no reason to consider that her job had been incorrectly graded.
