In 2002, the Labour Court recommended that Drammock Limited pay outstanding Programme for Prosperity and Fairness payments to the Services Industrial Professional Technical Union’s members, with retrospection. It also recommended a three-month trial of continuous production, with any difficulties addressed through consultation. The union had sought the 5.5% and 2% payments without production concessions. The company proposed staggered breaks to keep production running and cited competitive difficulties. The recommendation was dated 11 March 2002.
